Which Anti Wrinkle Cream Is The Best?

With the wealth of Anti Wrinkle Creams available now, the question is how to make an informed decision on which will work for you. Each brand claims many benefits. Some will help lessen the appearance of wrinkles and damage you already have and of course many cite the ability to keep your skin youthful by preventing wrinkles in the future.

Some independent studies have found the companies claims to be exaggerated. Reading consumer reviews in magazines or on the Internet is a great way to quickly and easily obtain information. The benefit is that these reviews are less likely to be biased, because unlike the manufacturers, independent reviewers have nothing to gain by pushing a certain product.

When you decide to invest in an anti wrinkle cream keep your skin type in mind. There are many formulations suited to oily, dry or combination skin. Read the available reviews and perhaps try a sample before making the investment. Using the wrong formulation for your skin can give harmful results.

Once you have decided on the product that’s best for you, follow the directions exactly. If you purchased a hand cream, don’t use it on your face as it may be too strong for the delicate facial skin. Likewise a facial cream probably won’t give the desired results on your hands. Each is formulated for a specific body area. Another important tip is to never leave a product on longer than the directions say. It may cause a skin irritation as well as other problems.

Your lifestyle will also play an important part in the products that you choose. Some require a diligent daily regimen while others products are quick and easy. They each have their own set of benefits, so it’s up to you to decide which benefits you are looking for and the time you will have to spend on your anti wrinkle regimen. If you are a very busy person, you may just want a product that you can put on in the morning and get on with your day.

Just because a wrinkle cream is expensive, it does not necessarily mean it is better. Don’t be fooled by costly brand name items or big splashy advertisements. Sometimes the more affordable, lesser-known options can be every bit as effective as the designer brands. Shop around before you make your selection.

There are many characteristics of these products. Some are greasier than others, some are fragrant, there are different consistencies to consider. All of these factors are in addition to effectiveness, price and convenience and should be compared on the review site you choose. Your personal preferences are how you will ultimately make your decision.

Likes and dislikes vary from one individual to another. A product that you didn’t like may be someone else absolute favorite. Keep in mind what benefits you are looking for and do the necessary research. Become a well informed consumer.

Wrinkle Free in 2 Steps:

In the News:

Barbara Walters News Special: On 60 Minutes, Dr. Christoph Wesphal explains that Resveratrol is a naturally occurring component of red wine that can apparently extend human life.

WebMD: Resveratrol may prolong life and fight age-related diseases.

Resveratrol is one of a group of antioxidant compounds called polyphenols found in red wine that has been reported to have anti-inflammatory as well as anticancer properties.

Resveratrol may counter type 2 diabetes and insulin resistance, a new study shows.

CNN: At high doses, resveratrol appears to prolong life spans and improve health in mice. Human trials are under way.

This research, funded in part by the National Institute on Aging, was published in the journals Nature and Call in November, and bottles of resveratrol have been flying off the shelves since. Dr. Brent Bauer, director of the Department of Internal Medicine's Complementary and Integrative Medicine Program at Mayo Clinic says "This may be the best thing since sliced bread for human beings, but we just don't know yet."

Fox News: For years, red wine has been linked to numerous health benefits. But the new study, published online in the journal Nature on Thursday, shows that mammals given ultrahigh doses of resveratrol can get the good effects of cutting calories without actually doing it.

"If we're right about this, it would mean you could have the benefit of restricting calories without having to feel hungry," Sinclair said. "It's the Holy Grail of aging research."
