Treatment for Oily Skin

Oily skin is shiny and known to cause pimples, zits, enlarged pores, blackheads and other embarrassing blemishes. For anyone suffering these symptoms, this condition can be an emotional rollercoaster! But, don’t fret, it’s not the end of the world. Oily skin treatments are important for a person’s self-confidence and allow them to control a condition that at times seems to control their lives.

Causes of Oily Skin - Do you have any?

Oily skin is a result of overactive sebaceous glands. This gives way to skin that is prone to blackheads and enlarged pores. It is also what makes skin shiny . During adolescence hormonal shifts will be likely to cause oily skin, but it can occur at any age. Most people will experience this condition due to any of the following factors:

Genetics

Puberty

Certain medications

Hormone levels

Certain Foods

Make up

Climate

Treatment - Skin Care for Oily Skin

Oily skin needs special cleansing with plenty of hot water and soap to prevent the pores from being clogged. However, you should avoid all harsh chemical products that strip your skin of natural oils and encourage flakiness. If the body is somehow stripped of its natural oils then it will react by producing more sebum. This reaction is known as reactive seborrhea.

Avoid products that leave your skin taut and dehydrated by using an oil-free skin care cream that brings balance to your skin. Most OTC products are made with chemicals that inhibit the body’s natural oil flow, leading to blocked pores and breakouts.

Bio Skin Care Treatments give Oily skin Care a Natural Touch

Everyone seems to be talking about finding a good face cream for dry skin. Where does that leave the thousands that have oily skin, but are not sure how to treat it? Better yet, where does that leave the ones that want natural treatments for their oily skin condition? Anyone that wants to go ‘natural’ is looking for a gentle solution that works. Here are 3 of the best natural treatments:

*Aloe Vera: This plant has amazing healing properties that can also help treat oily skin conditions. It’s recommended that you use a real aloe vera leaf, but if not there are creams and gels made with this natural ingredient that are ideal for oily skin.

*Milk: Where you believe it or not, milk is an excellent oil-free cleanser that doesn’t dry out your skin. Wash your face several times a day with milk so that the pores don’t become clogged with sebum.

*Helix Aspersa Muller: To some this natural compound is better known as ’snail cream’. Nature has been generous in supplying us with a natural compound capable of recovering the normal physiology of the skin in all skin types. The extract taken from the Helix Aspersa Muller is an oil free compound and powerful immune modulator. It is also a powerful regeneration trigger that recovers damaged skin. It is ideal for keeping pores clear from debris by removing dead skin cells.

Oily skin is associated to enlarged pores, meaning that an essential treatment is a pore minimizing treatment capable of bringing back the skin’s natural balance. This is possible by using healthy skin care product that is formulated using the Helix Aspersa Muller compound.

Wrinkle Free in 2 Steps:

In the News:

Barbara Walters News Special: On 60 Minutes, Dr. Christoph Wesphal explains that Resveratrol is a naturally occurring component of red wine that can apparently extend human life.

WebMD: Resveratrol may prolong life and fight age-related diseases.

Resveratrol is one of a group of antioxidant compounds called polyphenols found in red wine that has been reported to have anti-inflammatory as well as anticancer properties.

Resveratrol may counter type 2 diabetes and insulin resistance, a new study shows.

CNN: At high doses, resveratrol appears to prolong life spans and improve health in mice. Human trials are under way.

This research, funded in part by the National Institute on Aging, was published in the journals Nature and Call in November, and bottles of resveratrol have been flying off the shelves since. Dr. Brent Bauer, director of the Department of Internal Medicine's Complementary and Integrative Medicine Program at Mayo Clinic says "This may be the best thing since sliced bread for human beings, but we just don't know yet."

Fox News: For years, red wine has been linked to numerous health benefits. But the new study, published online in the journal Nature on Thursday, shows that mammals given ultrahigh doses of resveratrol can get the good effects of cutting calories without actually doing it.

"If we're right about this, it would mean you could have the benefit of restricting calories without having to feel hungry," Sinclair said. "It's the Holy Grail of aging research."
