Skin Rash Rescue for Dry and Sensitive Skin

If you have very dry skin you may experience a very painful and potentially dangerous skin problem. This is why it is important to establish a good skin care plan that can keep this skin problem from becoming a full blown crisis. To do so the first step is establishing a cleansing routine.

Dry and sensitive skin can be kept under control by implementing the appropriate cleansing routine. First off, you should use a cream cleanser that is alcohol and fragrance free. By using this type of product your skin will be less likely to dry out from washing and less vulnerable to the scents and fillers that come in most products.

Next, find an alcohol free toner to help remove any excess oil, debris, or make that the cleanser did not eliminate. Follow up with the appropriate moisturizer for your type of skin. If need be, you can reapply moisturizer during the day.

If your skin is still dry, irritated and/or develops rashes, you may want to try a few changes in your daily habits. as a matter of fact, any effective skin rash rescue plan requires some routine changes.

You should keep an eye on your alcohol, caffeine, and soda intake. These types of drinks will dehydrate your skin, making it promote to itchiness and possible rashes. By giving them up you will also be improving your overall health.

Also control the amount of refined sugar or salt that you intake. If you don’t think things will taste right without salt then there are a few flavor enhancers you can use to help you eliminate salt: pepper, ginger, and lemon juice. If you need to find a substitute sugar you can use natural sweetener such as honey.

During winter you should bundle up to keep the wind from drying out your skin. Use a humidifier and stay away from open flames. You can also get added protection by using a sensitive skin balm to help moisturize and soothe extra dry skin.

During the summer, moderate your time in the water. The chlorine from the pool and the salt from the ocean are both dehydrating agents. If you do decide to go into the water, make sure that once you’ve gotten out you rinse your skin off with fresh water.

Make sure that you maintain a consistent exfoliation routine during summer and winter. This action will remove dead skin cells and prepare the skin to be moisturized.

Lastly, change your wardrobe. Don’t throw all of your clothes away. Instead, replace the itchier clothing for softer versions.

For example, wool is a very irritating fiber. However, you can replace it with cashmere garments. While clothing made with polyester and polyblends can be replaced with high quality cotton.

BIOSKINBALM is a dry skin care cream that contains snail serum. This ingredient helps soothe dry and sensitive skin, and does not cause any harmful side effects. It is also an excellent treatment for other dry skin problems such as eczema & dermatitis.

Wrinkle Free in 2 Steps:

In the News:

Barbara Walters News Special: On 60 Minutes, Dr. Christoph Wesphal explains that Resveratrol is a naturally occurring component of red wine that can apparently extend human life.

WebMD: Resveratrol may prolong life and fight age-related diseases.

Resveratrol is one of a group of antioxidant compounds called polyphenols found in red wine that has been reported to have anti-inflammatory as well as anticancer properties.

Resveratrol may counter type 2 diabetes and insulin resistance, a new study shows.

CNN: At high doses, resveratrol appears to prolong life spans and improve health in mice. Human trials are under way.

This research, funded in part by the National Institute on Aging, was published in the journals Nature and Call in November, and bottles of resveratrol have been flying off the shelves since. Dr. Brent Bauer, director of the Department of Internal Medicine's Complementary and Integrative Medicine Program at Mayo Clinic says "This may be the best thing since sliced bread for human beings, but we just don't know yet."

Fox News: For years, red wine has been linked to numerous health benefits. But the new study, published online in the journal Nature on Thursday, shows that mammals given ultrahigh doses of resveratrol can get the good effects of cutting calories without actually doing it.

"If we're right about this, it would mean you could have the benefit of restricting calories without having to feel hungry," Sinclair said. "It's the Holy Grail of aging research."
