Dress Your Best For Success

Dressing for success is neither hard nor difficult to do. And it shouldn’t be a mystery how to pull it off successfully. There are just a few basic guidelines for dressing well. With just a few select items in your wardrobe, you can put a great look on display in no time. This is as true for misses as for plus-sized women. Just try a few of these simple fashion-do tips and you’ll see just how great a look you will have!

Nearly any woman of any body shape or figure is able to wear A-plus line dresses. Most women are larger in the lower portion of their bodies rather than the top; that it the hips and thighs are proportionally larger than the torso. A-line dresses fit these body shapes well, by fitting at the waist and then are tailored to spread out, thus hiding any problem areas in the lower portions. But these dresses are also great if you have a large bust size. The A-line dresses balance this top-heaviness and add volume in the lower portions, giving the appearance of more curves to your figure.

No matter her age or size, every little girl should have at least one little black dress. A black dress is so versatile that it can be dressed down as day wear with a jacket or cardigan, or dressed up for a formal evening with jewelry and formal foot wear. With a black dress, there is always something to wear for those last minute parties or formal events.

Since no one else is going to be looking at the labels on your clothes, make sure that you purchase the size that fits you. Plus size outfits that fit, are actually more flattering to your figure than those sizes that you have to squeeze yourself into. Also, too small clothing will emphasize the unflattering parts of your figure rather than making you look better. Be careful, of course, to not go too big either as that is also unflattering.

Pair a jacket with a dress for a sharp career look. This is a great look for the office. A sheath dress is sleek and flattering. When paired with a fitted, matching blazer, it is taken to the next level and is an easy, classic professional look. The fitted jacket will also give you a flattering, slimming look that is very fashionable.

Use separates to create more options. Choose several pieces that you can mix and match for different looks. Pair a great jacket with a simple top and some cute slacks or a skirt. Have a wardrobe that has many pieces that go together. A few jackets and cardigans, several tops and a few pants and skirts that all work together can give you tons of options. Dressing well does not have to be difficult, just be creative, get clothes that fit you and have fun. When you feel good in your clothes, it will definitely show.

Wrinkle Free in 2 Steps:

In the News:

Barbara Walters News Special: On 60 Minutes, Dr. Christoph Wesphal explains that Resveratrol is a naturally occurring component of red wine that can apparently extend human life.

WebMD: Resveratrol may prolong life and fight age-related diseases.

Resveratrol is one of a group of antioxidant compounds called polyphenols found in red wine that has been reported to have anti-inflammatory as well as anticancer properties.

Resveratrol may counter type 2 diabetes and insulin resistance, a new study shows.

CNN: At high doses, resveratrol appears to prolong life spans and improve health in mice. Human trials are under way.

This research, funded in part by the National Institute on Aging, was published in the journals Nature and Call in November, and bottles of resveratrol have been flying off the shelves since. Dr. Brent Bauer, director of the Department of Internal Medicine's Complementary and Integrative Medicine Program at Mayo Clinic says "This may be the best thing since sliced bread for human beings, but we just don't know yet."

Fox News: For years, red wine has been linked to numerous health benefits. But the new study, published online in the journal Nature on Thursday, shows that mammals given ultrahigh doses of resveratrol can get the good effects of cutting calories without actually doing it.

"If we're right about this, it would mean you could have the benefit of restricting calories without having to feel hungry," Sinclair said. "It's the Holy Grail of aging research."
