Cellulite Causes and Cellulite Treatments

Cellulite is a woman’s worst nightmare. Most people believe it is linked to weight gain, however, the only thing that weight does is make the problem more evident.

There are six main causes that lead to cellulite. Knowing what causes cellulite, will help you treat it more effectively.

Cause One - Like Mother, Like Daughter

Unfortunately, genetic predisposition can actually increase your chance of developing cellulite. What’s more, women are more prone to developing cellulite than men.

Cause Two - Not Drinking Water

Cellulite is a mixture of fat, water and toxins. Drinking plenty of water will help maintain your body hydrated while also helping flush out toxins.

Cause Three - Improper Diet

A bad diet can greatly affect the appearance of cellulite. Foods like alcohol, processed foods and caffeine produce toxins that get trapped in our fatty tissue. This contributes to development of cellulite.

Cause Four - Sedentary Lifestyle

A sedentary lifestyle leads to poor circulation and muscle tone. These factors promote the development of cellulite. Your connective tissue will also harden, which leads to the dimpling effect that is characteristic of cellulite.

Cause Five- Smoking Habit

Another great reason to put down that cigarette is that smoking can promote cellulite by damaging the connective tissues in your body. This is one of the biggest causes of the cottage cheese appearance of cellulite skin

Cause Six- Medication

Certain medications contribute to cellulite. Diet pills, birth control pills, sleeping pills, and diuretics can all promote to cellulite formation. Birth control pills lead to water retention, which keeps the body from flushing out toxins.

How to Deal with Cellulite

To get rid of cellulite, take into consideration the previous list of causes. Firstly, if your mother has cellulite, then there is a good chance you will also develop the same skin condition. Nevertheless, you can use a natural cellulite treatment cream, to make it less noticeable.

Make sure that you drink plenty of water and eat foods high in fiber. This modification will help your body eliminate the toxins that are stored in your fatty deposits.

Also, try to eliminate the consumption of alcohol, caffeine and junk food. If you’re not keen about this step then simply reduce your daily intake. This will help you avoid the formation of stretch marks by helping you maintain a healthy weight. A natural cellulite treatment cream can also help minimize the appearance of cellulite.

You can prevent cellulite by exercise, eating right, and using the right skin care cream. A good cellulite cream like BIOBODYSLIM can help you treat cellulite. Maintaining this steady flow of natural products, exercise and proper dieting you’ll quickly see how your cellulite fades away.

Wrinkle Free in 2 Steps:

In the News:

Barbara Walters News Special: On 60 Minutes, Dr. Christoph Wesphal explains that Resveratrol is a naturally occurring component of red wine that can apparently extend human life.

WebMD: Resveratrol may prolong life and fight age-related diseases.

Resveratrol is one of a group of antioxidant compounds called polyphenols found in red wine that has been reported to have anti-inflammatory as well as anticancer properties.

Resveratrol may counter type 2 diabetes and insulin resistance, a new study shows.

CNN: At high doses, resveratrol appears to prolong life spans and improve health in mice. Human trials are under way.

This research, funded in part by the National Institute on Aging, was published in the journals Nature and Call in November, and bottles of resveratrol have been flying off the shelves since. Dr. Brent Bauer, director of the Department of Internal Medicine's Complementary and Integrative Medicine Program at Mayo Clinic says "This may be the best thing since sliced bread for human beings, but we just don't know yet."

Fox News: For years, red wine has been linked to numerous health benefits. But the new study, published online in the journal Nature on Thursday, shows that mammals given ultrahigh doses of resveratrol can get the good effects of cutting calories without actually doing it.

"If we're right about this, it would mean you could have the benefit of restricting calories without having to feel hungry," Sinclair said. "It's the Holy Grail of aging research."
